Othello (San Francisco Ballet)

The San Francisco Ballet offers its first recorded performance in Lar Lubovitch's vibrant interpretation of Othello. Shakespeare's tragic tale of passion, jealousy, and betrayal synthesizes classical and modern movement, through an original choreography and Elliot Goldenthal's powerful score. Dancers include Desmond Richardson as Othello, Yuan Yuan Tan as Desdemona, and Parrish Maynard as Iago.
