Voyage of the Lonely Turtle

A female loggerhead turtle sets off to lay her eggs in the place where she was born.  Her voyage will take her across the Pacific, from the west coast of Mexico to Japan. It is the among the longest journeys undertaken by any animal on land or sea, and she will make it all alone — facing typhoons and sharks, whales and squid, and passing through many of the exotic kingdoms of the sea.
