Allies at War

The relationship between the leaders of the Allied Forces in World War II were contentious, to say the least. Presdient Roosevelt brought the United States into the war while being reviled by France's Charles de Gaulle and Britain's Winston Churchill got along with neither leader particularly well either. This PBS special examines the difficult relationships that brought the Allied Powers to victory.
