Set against the spectacular coastline of British Columbia, this film shows us the numerous, almost magical, adaptations that allow creatures great and small to hang on and survive the extremes of high and low tides. We are swept into a strange and beautiful world of perpetual motion ruled by the phases of the moon, where armies of seemingly motionless sea anemones wage war, sea stars hunt and kill, hermit crabs fight over real estate, and translucent nudibranchs do ghostly dances on the currents.
